Scott & Annette Sullens
Jan & Paul Porter
Suseann started singing at church at age 10. She sang with the church choir and sang solo until her and her late husband, Al Bristow, were married in 1993. Suseann sang solo for several years while Al ran the sound. They sang and played with Forgiven from Acworth, GA and God's Design from Gainesville, GA for a year or so. But in 2004 the Lord saw fit to announce "The Bristows". While Al & Suseann were singing with the various other groups, they met Scott & Annette Sullens.
Scott started playing guitar at age 12. Scott played for his family to sing in church and in 1978 he began playing with the original Crane Family. Annette was born into a singing family. Her mother, father, aunts, uncles and grandparents sang and continue to sing today, some as members of The Marksmen Quartet. Scott & Annette were married in 1980. Scott played guitar and Annette sang with the Crane Family for many years. In 2007 the two of them began traveling and singing as God’s Way.
After much prayer, God’s Way officially joined The Bristows on June 23, 2010. Al, Suseann, Scott and Annette sang and played together until the Lord called Al home on November 10, 2014.
On December 31, 2015, Jan & Paul Porter joined The Bristows. Paul has been singing since he was 6 years old in churches and choirs. He sang with The Watchers from Cartersville, GA for 15+ years and also sang with Forgiven from Acworth, GA. Jan (who is Suseann’s sister) and Paul were married in 2003. Soon afterwards, they started a singing ministry called Destination.
The Bristows have a joint ambition of seeing people come to know the Lord and to see people blessed in the name of the Lord. The Bristows are blood washed, born again children of the King and feel honored to use their talents for the glory of the Lord.
